Thomas Ostermann, born in 1962, studied electrical engineering at the universities of Paderborn and Nottingham. He has been working in the field of industrial property law since 1991, and was for many years employed in automotive and information technology companies. Since 1999 he has been head of the offices in Paderborn. Thomas Ostermann also lectures in industrial property law at the University of Paderborn.

  • Arbitration Board on the Assertion of Copyrights.

He is a member of the Patentanwaltskammer (German Chamber of Patent Attorneys), the Bundesverband Deutscher Patentanwälte (Federal Association of German Patent Attorneys), VPP (Association of Industrial Property Experts), epi (European Patent Institute), FICPI (International Federation of Intellectual Property Attorneys), the Bundesverband mittelständischer Wirtschaft (Federal Association of Small- and Medium-Sized Businesses) and the Industrie- und Handelsclub Ostwestfalen-Lippe (Industry and Trade Club of East-Westphalia-Lippe).
